Davido 5ive Tour
The 5ive Tour was a run of shows across Nigeria, Africa, Europe and the US, based on Davido’s fifth studio album. While at MetaCraft Design, I served as lead designer on selected parts of the visual rollout for Davido’s 5ive Tour. Working as part of the MetaCraft team, my contribution focused on key static marketing visuals for the tour announcements, city variations, supporting acts, and these expanded into other applications such as venue branding & experiential design, and access credentials, executed with the team. What began in Nigeria evolved into a broader visual system, adapting to create distinct visuals across cities in Africa and Europe.

Key Visuals
The journey started with exploring directions for the key art, all with a heavy focus on real imagery of Davido. The decisive colour usage and bold typography helped communicate the significance and scale of the Nigeria tour. This direction took a few different forms, including a set of flyers created by the team to introduce supporting acts on the tour—distinguished by different colour tones for artistes, DJs, and hype. We also explored a map-based direction intended to create a stronger connection to the locations on the tour.
Venue Branding & OOH
A significant part of the work for the tour was to create a system of banners and entry arches for the Nigeria locations, for various areas and in various sizes. These had an emphasis on visibility, interest and depth created by typography and patterns. Guided by creative direction the team defined for the tour rollout, and in celebration of Davido's musical career, I designed a timeline banner inspired by museum displays and art appreciation; the timeline featured the five album titles with key lyrics and photo moments over the years, aiming to give show-goers a real point of engagement and connection.
Ahead of the first show, the team extended the visual system into promotional billboards, with the introduction of a more dynamic background treatment.

5ive Alive Tour: Africa and Beyond
Beyond the Nigeria leg of the tour, and as the visual language evolved to keep thing fresh, type acted as an anchor, but was flexible in order to convey diverse kinds of information (such as show announcements, tour dates, and supporting acts) across layouts. The map-based motif was also extended into these newer layouts, helping to bring a sense of recognition and atmosphere to the promotional material.
